The company designs and manufactures high-quality accessories that complement and make smart-home products even smarter.

The client needed an accessorie product for the already existing Amazon Echo Dot 2-nd generation. The task was to solve the problems the existing product had: Lack of mobility as it has to be plugged into a power socket and poor audio quality and low volume from the built in speaker.

The client had another request that we follow the look and feel values of the existing fabric case.

We have developed two products. One was a powerbank case that solves the mobility problem and another was a case that provided battery power but also a higher level sound system of two wide range speakers on the sides and bass woofer in the bottom.

My part was to come up with the design concept and to direct the design team all the way to the production ready prototype.
