About the client
WootCloud is a Device Context driven security firm traversing the IT/OT space across wired, wireless and RF spectrum.
The task:
Design a security scanner device that will monitor and maintained wireless networks through an encrypted signal.
The device should be designed in such way to easily blend into any interior space like hotel lobbies, airports, conference rooms, shopping centers, government buildings and so on.
It will be mounted in the upper areas of the walls and ceilings.
It will contain one directional and one omnidirectional antenna. And later a budget version with two omnidirectional antennas.
The passive cooling should be enough.
Should have a connectivity panel with power button, AC, USB, and network connectors, external antenna connector and a MMC/SD card reader slot.
The case should be made of injection moulding ABS.
This product design was realized in conjuction with full hardware development team of mecanical, electrical, electronics and firmware engineers.
